Updates & availability

Litters will be added to the database if they fill one of the following criteria:

  1. Two FCI/AKC registered longhair parents, and at least one FCI/AKC registered individual in the litter.
  2. One shorthaired + one longhaired parent, and at least one individual registered under FCI/AKC as a longhaired Dutch Shepherd.
  3. One shorthaired + one longhaired parent, and at least one individual is a parent to a backcross FCI/AKC longhair litter.

Because the goal of this website is to assist breeders in finding studs and dams that can be used for breeding without special application processes, first generation inter-variety combinations will only be added after they have produced registered longhair offspring. For the same reason full litters with “limited” or “not for breeding” registration are not listed, unless they later breed. Dogs born outside of FCI and then registered as Dutch Shepherds can only appear as parents, even if they have one FCI registered longhair parent. Both COI and MK calculations are always done with full available data.

If you have knowledge of a litter that meets these criteria but cannot be found on the database yet, please contact the webmaster. Data from countries with no public pedigree records might be incomplete or appear slower.
